Head of Sales - Cabling Location: Bedfordshire (within 1 hour of Bedford) Salary: £75,000-£85,000 + sales incentive bonus + company benefits The Role We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales to lead a high-performing B2B sales function and deliver profitable, predictable revenue growth. This is a senior leadership role with ownership of sales performance, forecasting, and customer experience. You will embed strong proactive sales mindset, pipeline discipline, and data-led decision making, while building a results-driven, customer-focused sales culture. Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Director, you will help execute the wider commercial strategy. Key Responsibilities • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, • Drive consistent sales growth through structured cadence, forecasting, and pipeline management, • Proficient on CRM, analysing team sales data and identifying gaps, • Champion customer-first, value-based selling, • Grow OEM, Panelbuilder, and MRO market segments, including ecommerce, • Strengthen key customer relationships and strategic accounts, • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance Experience Required • Proven track record leading a successful internal and external sales team, • Experience delivering growth through structured sales execution and forecasting, • Strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management skills, • Exposure to OEM, Panelbuilder, or MRO markets preferred but not essential, • Experience in distribution, industrial, technical, or electrical environments advantageous Personal Attributes • Results-driven, commercially astute, and disciplined, • Confident leader with strong communication and influencing skills, • Highly organised, resilient, and customer-focused, • Energy, passion and ambition Location This role requires regular on-site leadership.
