About the role: The Staffing and Project Excellence Lead is responsible for overseeing Falconi’s end-to-end Portfolio performance, adherence to best standards, resource allocation, and knowledge management. This role ensures optimal utilization of consultants, financial discipline across projects, and consistency between how projects are executed. In addition, this role owns the implementation, development, and continuous improvement of systems and tools that support resource management, project performance tracking, and organizational knowledge. The position also leads the creation and maintenance of Falconi’s project case repository, ensuring structured capture of insights, results, and best practices from all engagements. The role acts as a strategic partner to Business Leaders, Project Managers, Talent, Finance, and IT teams, providing data-driven insights and scalable systems to support Falconi’s growth. Requirements: Key responsibilities: Resource Management & Utilization • Ensure all consultants are accurately allocated across projects, tracking utilization rates by individual, team, solution, and geography (onshore/offshore)., • Monitor revenue generation per resource and project, ensuring alignment with financial targets., • Identify unallocated (bench) resources, calculate cost of non-allocation, and define corrective actions with leadership., • Match qualified consultants to engagements based on skills, availability, project needs, and career development goals., • Analyze supply and demand to forecast future staffing needs and identify capacity risks or bottlenecks., • Manage bench strength proactively and support hiring, redeployment, or outsourcing decisions., • Advise Business Leaders and Talent teams on strategic staffing priorities., • Oversee the full project portfolio supporting team leaders to guarantee projects start and close according to plan + delivery aligns with what was sold (scope, effort, timeline, and value proposition)., • Track and analyze days sold vs. days utilized, identifying variances, risks, and margin impacts., • Monitor project performance indicators including utilization, burn rate, profitability, and delivery status., • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve project management methodologies, templates, governance models, and best practices., • Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and governance standards across all projects., • Provide consolidated portfolio visibility, reporting, and insights to executive leadership., • Own the implementation, configuration, and evolution of systems supporting:, • Resource management and staffing (e.g., STAFFIT or similar), • Project tracking and financial performance, • Portfolio and utilization reporting, • Define functional requirements and business rules for systems in partnership with IT, Finance, and Business Leaders., • Ensure data integrity, process adherence, and user adoption across the organization., • Identify gaps, automation opportunities, and technology enhancements to improve efficiency and decision-making., • Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable data across all PMO and resource systems., • Develop dashboards and reports on utilization, availability, project variance, revenue generation, and bench cost., • Translate data into actionable insights for leadership and operational teams., • Design, implement, and maintain a centralized system to collect, structure, and store project case studies., • Define standards for case documentation, including:, • Client context and challenge, • Solution and methodology applied, • Results, benefits, and impact, • Key lessons learned and best practices, • Ensure project teams consistently contribute case materials at project closure., • Partner with Business, Marketing, and Knowledge teams to enable reuse of cases for proposals, training, and thought leadership., • Support the creation and evolution of project practices by solution area., • Define delivery standards, staffing models, utilization benchmarks, and performance metrics per solution., • Enable scalability, consistency, and quality across Falconi’s service offerings. What you’ll need: • Experience in management consulting, PMO, resource management, or operations., • Strong understanding of project economics, utilization, and margin management., • Proven experience in resource allocation, staffing, and capacity planning., • Advanced analytical and reporting skills., • Experience with resource management or scheduling systems (e.g., STAFFIT or similar)., • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills., • Ability to balance business performance with employee experience.
