This role is responsible for performing a variety of inspection and tests on purchased, made in-house, sub-assembly and final products integral to Nalco’s water monitoring and treatment equipment. The role will also assist as directed with nonconformance, calibration, documentation management and other elements of the ISO9001 certified Quality Management System. What You Will Do: • Verify controller build quality by reviewing and validating completion of quality checklists., • Connect controllers to the cloud and download/apply required configurations., • Validate controller setup and performance using Ecolab's data platform., • Diagnose and resolve controller issues; coordinate with the Equipment Help Desk as needed., • Identify and troubleshoot data ingestion issues; collaborate with the Digital Help Desk for resolution., • Analyze and communicate recurring issues, trends, and findings to the Connected Devices team., • Apply appropriate labeling and identification to controllers in accordance with standard, • Troubleshoot, and potentially fix, issues that arise, • Upload, configure, debug, and troubleshoot programmable logic controller (PLC) programs and related control logic on equipment, • Critically evaluate quality standards and collaborate on continual improvement, • Support management of nonconformance, calibration, and documentation programs, • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, • Ensure schedule, quality, and safety standards are met Position Details: • Plant location: Greetree, PA, • Work week and shift: Monday - Friday 7AM – 3:30PM Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, • 2 years of experience in an electrical engineering support role in a production environment, • Experience connecting industrial or IoT-enabled equipment to cloud-based systems., • Experience validating device configurations and data using a digital platform or dashboard., • Working knowledge of Ethernet, cellular, or industrial network connectivity fundamentals., • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware-to-software or device-to-cloud integration issues., • Proficiency using computer systems for configuration, diagnostics, and documentation., • Experience wiring simple circuitry and performing point-to-point terminations, • Experience using handheld electrical process calibration tools, such as multi-meter, signal generator, and amprobe, • Experience with low voltage AC (<600VAC) and DC (<50VDC) circuit assembly, • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, • Ability to work independently, • No Immigration Sponsorship is available for this opportunity Physical Demands: • This position requires regularly lifting and carrying 50lbs., • This role is in a shop environment, with exposure to dust, noises, and odors. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of electrical safety, electrical code requirements, and common types of control equipment, • Experience in a quality control related assignment, • Experience supporting connected devices, IoT platforms, or industrial data systems., • Familiarity with data ingestion workflows, device telemetry, or remote monitoring systems., • Experience collaborating with remote technical support or global service teams., • Ability to analyze trends or recurring issues and communicate findings to engineering or product teams., • Experience working with quality systems in an ISO 9001–certified environment involving digital or connected equipment., • Familiarity with labeling, asset identification, or traceability requirements for electronic equipment., • Experience working with equipment certifications (e.g. UL, CE, NSF), • SAP Experience, • TPM/Lean Manufacturing Experience Annual or Hourly Compensation Range The pay range for this position is $74,700.00 - $112,200.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
