Job Description Machine Operator - 1st and 3rd shift Job Description As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of various types of production equipment, including batching, filling, packaging, mixing, and blending equipment in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment. The role requires the ability to operate forklifts, lift up to 50lbs, and comply with GMP standards. Proficiency in reading and writing English and interpreting detailed documentation is essential. Responsibilities • Operate various production equipment such as batching, filling, packaging, and mixing/blending equipment., • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)., • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently., • Lift materials weighing up to 50lbs., • Climb stairs as necessary for operational duties., • 1+ year of general production experience., • 1+ year of machine operating experience., • 1+ year of forklift operation experience., • Experience in blending, mixing, and packaging machine operations. Work Environment First shift work hours are 6am-2:30pm and third shift work hours are from 10pm to 6:30am, Monday through Friday, with a $3 shift premium on the third shift. The work environment requires adherence to GMP standards, including wearing a hair net, beard net, smocks, steel toes, and safety glasses. Conditions may vary with some areas being hot and others cold. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sheboygan, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
