An exciting opportunity has arisen for a client facing Senior Qualitative Research Executive to join our fast growing and award-winning agency. We’re looking for someone who has a real passion for qualitative research and is dedicated and motivated by understanding human behaviour. As you learn, grow and develop you will take on more and more responsibilities, including end to end management of projects, as well as account management and business development. You will be actively involved in working on projects across all of our practice areas, from Brand, Communications and Product through to Political and Social and Thought Leadership. There will be lots of variety in the topics you research, the audiences you conduct research with and the methodologies you’ll use to get to the heart of our client’s objectives. You might be joining our team of five qualitative specialists in London, but they won’t be the only researchers that you’ll work alongside. You’ll also be involved in mixed-method projects, working closely with quant-only researchers across each of our global offices. Person specification: We are looking for someone who is motivated, curious, resilient, creative, authentic and are keen to learn, grow and develop their career at a top agency. You are passionate about qualitative research and insights, as well as building close collaborative relationships with both colleagues and clients. • Enthusiastic, with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude and a desire to develop and contribute to the agency’s financial success, • A strong team player who has the confidence and ability to make their mark in a small team, • Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, • Has a genuine curiosity and passion for understanding human behaviour, • Has experience with a mixture of traditional and more innovative qualitative research methods, • Thinks creatively about qualitative methods and how to apply them, • Confident moderating both online and face-to-face focus groups and in-depth interviews, • Enthusiastic about engaging and building great rapport and relationships with clients, • Interested in and willing to embrace new tools and methodologies, • Highly developed organisational and time-management skills, • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, • An excellent eye for detail, • Proactive and clear communication skills, • Good proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Slides (bonus) After a thorough onboarding and training programme, and as you progress in the role, some of the general tasks and responsibilities you can expect in this role as a senior qualitative research executive will include: • Designing sample frames for qualitative recruitment, • Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating costs for services, • Writing recruitment screeners, • Briefing teams on recruitment, overseeing recruitment and quality-checking recruits against set hard and soft quotas., • Supporting with project logistics and coordination – including fieldwork scheduling and online community scripting, • Designing discussion guides design for interviews, focus groups and online communities as part of a team, • Moderating both online and face-to-face focus groups and interviews, • Leading day-to-day communication with suppliers and clients, • Using qualitative platforms such as Recollective, Miro and CoLoop to host and analyse research findings, • The ability to turn findings into actionable insights and recommendations for clients, as part of a project team, • Writing PowerPoint and Word reports as part of a team – including designing clear and visually appealing slides, creating powerful case studies, • Quality checking reports, • Preparation for debriefs / presentations, • Attending client meetings / pitches / intro calls, • Contributing ideas for new proposals Experience: • At least 2.5 years of agency experience at a qualitative agency or a qualitative team within an agency What we offer you: We have a wide range of wellbeing tools and initiatives so that you can be your best inside and outside of work. • A thorough onboarding and training programme and the tools, resources and support you need to succeed and grow, • A career manager (who invests in and looks after your career), • A truly flexible work environment, hybrid working with a focus on prioritising work-life balance (Monday and Wednesdays office-based as a minimum), • A fun, inclusive and thoughtful company culture with a vibrant social calendar including regular agency drinks, our monthly lunch, social events and parties, • Competitive salary, annual leave, and an excellent pension scheme, • Benefits including life insurance, critical illness insurance, dental insurance, Bike to Work scheme, Season Ticket Loan, generous savings plans and a monthly wellbeing allowance (£60 per month e.g. gym, sports club, language classes), volunteering days, pre-paid vouchers for annual flu jab/eye test, annual health assessments, flexi start/leave, birthday come-in-lates or leave-earlies, WFH equipment allowance.
