This is a high-profile, fast-paced role suited to a confident leader who can deliver exceptional client service, maintain outstanding, premium site standards and create a welcoming, professional experience for occupiers and visitors. \n You will lead day-to-day operations, support client retention, oversee the front-of-house experience and work closely with internal teams, suppliers and clients to ensure the site operates smoothly and commercially. Key Responsibilities\n As General Manager / Front of House Manager, you will act as the key link between the operations team, on-site staff, clients and suppliers. Your responsibilities will include: Operational Management and Client Retention\n\n • Build strong relationships with existing clients to support retention, satisfaction and renewals.\n, • Oversee the full customer journey, including onboarding, IT setup, offboarding and dilapidation inspections.\n, • Handle escalated queries or complaints professionally, ensuring feedback is recorded and acted upon.\n, • Identify opportunities to generate additional revenue through meeting rooms, events and enhanced client services.\n, • Host events on behalf of the company or its clients\n, • Conduct viewings for new or potential customers\n, • Lead by example and support the Front of House team to deliver a consistently professional welcome.\n, • Ensure all visitors, customers and occupiers receive a seamless, high-quality service experience.\n, • Oversee meeting room bookings, including room setup, presentation standards and AV requirements.\n, • Manage telephone enquiries and messages when required, maintaining a polished first impression.\n, • Lead, motivate and manage the on-site team, ensuring appropriate cover and high performance.\n, • Conduct regular one-to-ones, support development and address performance, disciplinary or grievance matters where required.\n, • Take ownership of recruitment, including first-stage interviews, onboarding and training.\n, • Promote a positive culture that reflects company values and supports continuous improvement.\n, • Maintain high site presentation standards through regular reviews and close liaison with the Building Manager.\n, • Manage key supplier relationships to ensure service levels are met and value is delivered.\n, • Source new suppliers where required and support the smooth running of site operations.\n, • Take overall responsibility for health and safety compliance, including staff training and annual document reviews.\n, • Manage the central helpdesk, ensuring issues are resolved quickly, professionally and with empathy.\n, • Oversee stock control, ordering and monthly bill run checks in partnership with the Finance team.\n, • Manage ad-hoc projects for the site as required.\nFront of House, Reception and Guest ExperienceTeam Leadership and People ManagementBuilding, Supplier and Compliance ManagementAdministration and HelpdeskAbout You\n We are looking for a proactive, polished and commercially aware manager who thrives in a customer-facing environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service. \n\n • Proven experience in a customer-facing management role, ideally with front of house or commercial responsibility.\n, • Strong experience leading, motivating and developing a team.\n, • Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively.\n, • Confident communication and leadership skills, with the ability to adapt to different situations.\n, • Experience within commercial property, serviced offices or flexible workspace is highly desirable.\n, • A genuine drive to raise standards and continuously improve.\n, • A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of challenges.\n, • Confident, approachable and professional at all times.\n, • Client-facing, with meticulous attention to personal presentation and site standards.\n, • Calm and efficient under pressure, with the ability to manage a high volume of work.\n, • Enhanced holiday plus bank holidays\n, • Birthday leave\n, • Company pension scheme\n, • Uniform allowance\n, • Excellent training and career development opportunities\nKey BehavioursBenefitsApply Now\n If you are a passionate, service-led leader looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
