Key Responsibilities • Analyse sales performance, customer demand and market trends to support commercial decision-making., • Monitor sales volumes, product performance, margins, stock levels and profitability., • Assist management with pricing strategies, promotional activities and product range planning., • Review customer purchasing patterns and identify opportunities to improve sales and customer engagement., • Conduct competitor and market research to identify changing market conditions, competitor activity and potential business opportunities., • Research and assess potential new products, suppliers and commercial opportunities., • Support purchasing decisions by reviewing product demand, stock performance, pricing and supplier information., • Assist with supplier relationships, supplier communications and commercial negotiations., • Prepare sales forecasts, management reports, performance updates and commercial analysis., • Track key commercial performance indicators and highlight areas requiring improvement., • Work with marketing teams to support promotional campaigns and activities designed to increase sales., • Work with retail and e-commerce teams to improve product presentation, availability and customer experience., • Support the development and implementation of commercial plans and strategies., • Assist in identifying opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins and reduce unnecessary costs., • Contribute to business planning, product development and commercial projects., • Maintain accurate commercial records and ensure relevant information is available to management., • Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management based on sales and market analysis., • Undertake other commercially related duties appropriate to the role. Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will have: • Experience in a commercial, sales, purchasing, business development or related environment., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., • Good understanding of sales performance, pricing, margins and commercial planning., • Ability to analyse sales and market information and turn findings into practical recommendations., • Good knowledge of customer behaviour, market trends and competitor activity., • Strong communication and negotiation skills., • Good organisational and time-management skills., • Ability to work effectively with sales, marketing, purchasing, retail and e-commerce teams., • Good attention to detail and ability to prepare accurate reports., • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider management team., • Good IT and spreadsheet skills, with the ability to work with sales and commercial data.
