What you will be doing. Collaborate with local authorities to align skills programmes with broader regional goals. Strengthen relationships through regular co-location, ensuring a strong connection between WMCA and local communities. Lead thematic, place-based projects to address skills gaps and support regional strategies. Share insights and lessons learned to influence decision-making at all levels. Guide and support a caseload of providers, helping them enhance programme delivery. Monitor performance, analyse data, and champion continuous improvement. Promote knowledge-sharing and best practices to encourage high-quality outcomes. Oversee contract and compliance management, ensuring programmes meet funding regulations and deliver measurable impact. Provide expert insights, reports, and briefings to inform strategy and decision-making. Whats essential. Expertise in managing contracts, performance, or compliance. Proven ability to build strong networks and partnerships. Knowledge of Skills Funding Programme regulations and delivery. Analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving and reporting skills. Proficiency in Excel and MS Office, with experience tailoring communications for diverse audiences. A proactive, detail-oriented approach to delivering results on tight deadlines. Location. The location for this role is Summer Lane with at least 2 days a week spent in the office. There will also be a requirement to attend face-to-face meetings with Providers on a weekly basis.
