Cleans, stocks, and sterilizes equipment; Cleans and prepares patient rooms for care delivery. Discards outdated drugs from medications cabinet. Performs annual reporting to include protective device survey (all lead aprons inspected with fluoro) and repeat analysis for diagnostic imaging. Performs multifunctional skills, other testing and care consistent with the scope of practice including spirometry/PFTs, patient vitals and BMI, EKGs, vision and hearing testing, splinting, tuberculosis skin testing, pregnancy testing, urinalysis, venipuncture, finger sticks on adults and heel sticks on infants, microbiology, and general patient care under the supervision of the physician. Removes sutures/staples with provider written order after exam. * Prepares written documentation such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports. Promotes an atmosphere of respect towards patients, families, vendors, employers, and co-workers. Acts and communicates professionally. Responsibilities: • Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner., • Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members., • Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and manage patient records accurately and confidentially., • Verify insurance information, collect co-payments, and assist with billing inquiries., • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room., • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and handling office supplies inventory., • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred., • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment., • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality regarding sensitive information., • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Additional certification in medical office administration or related field is a plus.Company DescriptionThe Institute for HEALing, LLC (iHEAL) is a mental wellness agency dedicated to holistic health and growth.
