Key Account Manager- Energy or Utilities experience required! Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Benefits Location: Greater Manchester- Office Based Are you a commercially driven Account Manager with experience in the energy or utilities sector? We’re partnering with a market-leading energy management organisation to find a talented Key Account Manager to join their high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key client relationships, drive revenue growth, and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative energy solutions. The Opportunity As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be the trusted partner to a portfolio of established clients, developing long-term relationships while identifying opportunities to expand services and maximise value. You’ll also support the onboarding and growth of new accounts, ensuring every client receives a best-in-class experience. Working closely with internal teams and senior stakeholders, you’ll be at the heart of a collaborative and ambitious business. Key Responsibilities Own and nurture relationships with a portfolio of existing clients Build and develop long-term partnerships with new accounts Identify growth opportunities through cross-selling and up-selling services Manage client projects from meter installations to energy assessments ensuring timely delivery Collaborate with internal teams including Business Development, Operations, and senior leadership Engage with external stakeholders, providing market insights, guidance, and forecasting Deliver exceptional customer service at every touchpoint About You Proven experience in Account Management (ideally within the energy/utilities sector) Strong commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset Excellent communication skills confident, articulate, and persuasive A consultative approach with the ability to understand and solve client needs Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proactive and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced environment Good numeracy skills with experience using Excel and CRM/business systems What’s in It for You?
